Our service department at Hardcore Hi-Fi is second to none. We are the national warranty repair center for Luxman Japan, Goldmund, Engstrom and we are currently adding several other well regarded manufacturers to our warranty service roster. We service units from all over the United States.

WHAT DOES RESTORATION MEAN?
Too often, units that are merely repaired or “serviced” are marketing as “restored” without the true restoration work being completed. Here is what restoration means to the HCHF team
Replace all electrolytic and tantalum capacitors.
Replace all Zener diodes
Replace any and all failure prone transistors
Replace carbon composition resistors in power supply
Full LED relamp
Clean and lubrication of any and all moving parts.
Clean and lubrication of all switches and potentiometers
Full bias and DC offset adjustment
Adjustment of any voltages as necessary from power supplies
Clean and detail unit
72 hour burn in and recheck voltages, bias and DC offset prior to customer pickup.
A NOTE ON TAPE MACHINES:
HCHF services all makes and models of open reel and cassette machines. Due to the extensive labor costs required for these machines, HCHF will always advise that service fees of these units may very well exceed the value of the unit to be serviced.
